The staff was very helpful & friendly. The hotel was located within an easy driving distance of the college & most attractions. The breakfast had a good variety of options & was delicious!

The pool was not open since it's being remodeled & this information was not listed on their website, so the kids were disappointed. The hotel room could have been cleaned better & the carpet needed replaced. Negative: ""

GOOD: Friendliest hotel staff I've encountered. Bed was comfy. Shower was clean. Room was pretty clean. Comes with large fridge & microwave. Free breakfast. Charging ports in center nightstand. BAD: First room had no heat so moved us to another room in which using heat caused the unit to be very, VERY loud - on & off every 30 or so seconds. Only one thin blanket per bed. Interior room doorknob came off unless pulled it up & push toward the door (They knew this was an issue because sign on outside room doorknob said "PULL UP". This isn't just a nuisance but a potential safety issue.). Toilet paper thin & not soft. Breakfast was so-so with lukewarm "hot" items, one yogurt, & he starts prepping to close down 30mins early (but did make us fresh scrambles eggs since none were left).

One of the primary reasons I booked this hotel was to enjoy the pool which was ice cold. Also the mattress definitely was worn with a black hole that sucked everything to the middle of the bed. Negative: ""

We went for a family reunion so we had 3 rooms total here. The breakfast was poor quality and food was often gone before the allotted time. Our tub would not drain. Lighting was missing or poor. Carpets in hall and rooms needed vacuuming. We often stay at Best Westerns and have never had such a poor experience.

This was one of the friendliest hotels I have ever stayed at. The entire staff was so nice - from the cleaning crew, front desk and especially the guy running the kitchen. It may also have been the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. While the rooms, especially the bathroom (the tile was coming apart and it was just overall falling apart and old looking) need some much needed upgrades, we will stay here again just to come back and experience the wonderful staff.
